Broadview Hotel Receptionist and Administrative Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist and Administrative Assistant to join the UEA Broadview Hotel
Key duties of the role include:
- Provision of a high-quality reception service for guests of Broadview Hotel, including pre-arrival enquiries, reservations, room allocations, checking guests in and out and responding to their queries and requests.
- Responding promptly to enquiries by email, telephone or in person.
- Communicating with group organisers and maintaining group booking records.
- Preparation of guest information, keys and meal vouchers and taking payments.
Our reception team are the first point of contact for enquiries and provide a first-class, efficient, customer-focused service to our guests coming to us for short to medium term accommodation.
You will have strong customer service skills and be part of the team responsible for the management of the University’s guest and visitor accommodation in Broadview Hotel. You will need to have demonstrable experience of working in a hotel or similar reception along with experience of working as part of a team.
Please note that annual leave may be restricted at certain times of year and lone working is required at certain periods.
This part-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis, working 19 hours per week (Friday 4pm-9pm, Saturday 2pm-9pm and Sunday 2pm-9pm).
