Starting salary from £37,999 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £45,163 per annum.

We have a fantastic role for an Environmental Manager to manage and maintain the University’s accredited environmental management system.
As the Environmental Manager you will liaise and engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, accreditation bodies and other interested parties, to maintain relationships and information transfer between the Sustainability Committee and the wider campus and off campus communities.
You will have an undergraduate degree, equivalent qualification, or experience in a related subject/field with experience of an environmental management system.
The ability to effectively communicate information to colleagues and external stakeholders at all levels is essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with various departments across the University.
Experience of working in Higher Education would be advantageous, as would membership of an appropriate professional body or a qualification/experience in environmental auditing.
This post is available from 20 January 2025 on a full-time, indefinite basis.
