Catering and Hospitality Assistant (Part-time, 15 hours per week)

Salary will be £22,465 per annum pro rata (£11.91 per hour).
University of East Anglia’s Catering services are seeking an enthusiastic Catering and Hospitality Assistant to work in the Modern Life Café (and other catering outlets across UEA when required) at the internationally renowned Sainsbury Centre. Working as a member of the Front of House team, you will provide essential support in both the daily service of the counter-service restaurant, and our conference & banqueting events.
You will enjoy working in the beautiful glass-fronted restaurant in the Grade II listed gallery, providing high quality service for a range of customers, from our regular coffee and cake art gallery visitors to large scale banqueting events.

You will be able to work hard within a fast-paced environment; consistently demonstrate great customer service; display enthusiasm and have a willingness to support your team.
Previous experience of working in a hospitality environment with some barista training or experience is preferred, but not essential. You will be required to work 3 out of 7 days, both day and evening shifts.
