Catering and Hospitality Assistant (Food Preparation and Kitchen Porter)
(Full-time, University Term time only)

Salary will be £22,465 per annum pro rata (£11.91 per hour).
Catering & Hospitality Assistants play a super-important role in the UEA’s ‘The Campus Kitchen’ in providing efficient support for our outlets and delivered hospitality department.
In this role, you will:
- provide kitchen and food preparation support to the highest standard of food service.
- assist with food production under the guidance of our chef team.
- keep our kitchens clean.
- assist with delivered catering light bite refreshments, sandwich lunch and dinner preparation.
Is this role for me?
We are looking for someone who can manage their time effectively in a busy fast-paced environment and has a can-do attitude. You’ll need to display enthusiasm and have a willingness to help your team.
Previous experience of working in a catering and hospitality is preferred, but this is not essential. A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
You will be required to work 5 out of 7 days, day, weekend and evening shifts.
