Identity and Access Management Support Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Identity and Access Management Support Specialist to join the IT and Computing Service.

The IT Delivery Team at the University of East Anglia supports change for Identity Management, Student Information, Finance, Human Resources and Payroll, Library, Customer Relationship Management, Web Content Management, Portal, Enterprise-Wide Reporting, Research Management, plus a further series of business specific applications. You will liaise closely with developers within the Identity and Access Management Team in Development assisting them in providing an excellent service to all of their users as well as with application specialists within the Integrated Operations Team.

This role is a technical post, and a working knowledge of Windows Server is essential. This post requires an individual who can consistently and reliably follow established procedures to perform technical tasks. The role includes many aspects of support such as liaison with end users, suppliers and expert groups, training, monitoring of service performance, upgrades, patching, fault resolution and backup & security for a variety of Corporate Systems.

You will perform a critical role in system operation and will be responsible for ensuring that process and system documentation is complete, accessible and up to date. You will be exposed to a variety of systems and will be well placed to take on other roles within the division as they become available. There will also be opportunities to be involved in low code development as this capability is rolled out across the department/university.

This full-time post is available on an indefinite basis.
