Ref: RA2252

Starting salary from £37,099 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £44,263 per annum.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Research Associate to join the School of Psychology for our neuroimaging study on spatial neglect post-stroke, one of the most disabling and 'hidden' cognitive syndromes post-stroke, broadly defined as an inability to attend to the side most affected by the stroke.

The study is part of the Efficacy and Mechanism SIGHT trial funded by the Medical Research Council and National Institute for Health Research, led by Dr..Stéphanie Rossit : https://www.fundingawards.nihr.ac.uk/award/NIHR159047. You will be based at UEA, but expected to travel to collaborating sites for training, monitoring, and analysis purposes.

You will hold, or be nearing completion (within 2 months) of a PhD in Psychology, Neuroscience or related research area (e.g., Medicine), have research experience with neuroimaging analysis relevant for this project and be able to satisfy all the essential criteria detailed in the person specification for this post. You will have relevant programming skills and experience with writing papers for academic journals.
