A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the Faculty Professional Services team.  Applications are invited for the post of Clerical Assistant/Receptionist within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences - Norwich Medical School.
 
We are seeking to appoint an exceptional receptionist to act as first point of contact for students, staff and visitors to Norwich Medical School (MED).  You will play a pivotal role in ensuring we deliver an excellent level of customer service.
 
You will cover the MED reception desk between Wednesday and Friday. Reception is open from 08.30 to 4.30.
 
The role is a busy and varied one involving communication with visitors, students and academic staff. You will need to demonstrate excellent organisational skills, initiative and flexibility with a conscientious approach and have the ability to form effective working relationships in the School. You will provide an efficient, high quality and pro-active administrative service within the School and will work as part of a team delivering excellent customer service. You will be required to handle both professional and business information that is of a sensitive and/or confidential nature.
 
A good standard of education is required with a minimum of three passes at GCSE or equivalent at Grades A-C including mathematics and English, or equivalent experience.  You will require good IT skills with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook.
 
This part-time (up to 0.6FTE/21.75 hours per week) post is available on an indefinite basis.
