Early Years Practitioners (Full and Part-time opportunities available)

Salary on appointment will be £22,308 per annum, with an annual increment up to £22,980 per annum (pro rata if part-time).

The UEA Nursery is delighted to invite you to join our busy, professional, and friendly team to provide a safe, secure, and exciting environment for the babies and children in our Nursery.
We have a fantastic nursery based on our campus which offers our children free-flow play between our indoor and outdoor areas.
We have Forest School area in the nearby campus woodland which offers a natural environment for creative play. We are very proud of the creative, imaginative, and stimulating environment that we create for children in our care.
You will benefit from fantastic opportunities for self-development, and you’ll work 7 and a half hours per day on a rota basis. Your shifts will be either 8:30am to 5:00pm, 8:45am to 5:15pm or 9:00am to 5:30am, all Monday to Friday.
You must have a relevant Early Years qualification (or be able to achieve this before commencing employment) with knowledge and training in the Early Years Foundation Stage, along with experience of working with young children in a nursery setting. You will also need a willingness to undertake training and work flexibly across the nursery age range, as you will work with all age groups.
We have full-time and part-time opportunities available on an indefinite basis from 2 September 2024. If you are interested in part-time working, please state your availability and preferred working pattern on your application form.
These posts are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service, including a check of the Child Barred List.
