Salary on appointment will be £31,236 per annum (pro rata), with an annual increment up to £37,694 per annum (pro rata).

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Associate to join the Norwich Clinical Trials Unit at the University of East Anglia, supporting the delivery of high-quality clinical statistics.

In this role you’ll work with a Senior Statistician to provide statistical oversight at all stages of grant funded projects, which includes writing plans, undertaking data analysis and contributing to statistical reports and academic papers. You’ll also undertake research, produce both submissions for new studies and grant applications, and liaise with multiple stakeholders within the School.

You will have a Graduate level qualification with significant statistical component (e.g. Medical Statistics, Statistics, Mathematics) with subject knowledge in the relevant area and some research experience.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are key to success in this role.

The post is available immediately on a part-time (0.6 FTE) fixed term basis until 31 July 2028.
