Salary on appointment will be £31,236 per annum, with an annual increment up to £37,694 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tutor to join the School of Computing Sciences to deliver lectures and seminars, carry out teaching-related duties and to supervise undergraduate dissertations.
You will teach on undergraduate and potentially postgraduate programmes where required, planning and preparing for the academic cycle, organising and developing teaching and learning materials. You will take responsibility for the delivery and assessment of specific models and administrative duties required to sustain the delivery of high-quality teaching.
A graduate level qualification, equivalent qualification or experience in a similar role along with breadth and depth of knowledge in Computing Sciences is essential.
Teaching experience at undergraduate level is also essential, as is experience in student assessment including coursework, examinations and undergraduate dissertations.
Experience of course construction and planning and teaching at postgraduate level would be advantageous.
This full-time post is available immediately on a fixed term basis until 31 July 2028.
