Laboratory Technician

Salary on appointment will be £24,685 per annum, with an annual increment up to £26,093 per annum. 

UEA has some of the most innovative and highly regarded centres for research in the UK. Applications are invited for the post of Laboratory Technician to assist in the Science Analytical Facility.

Key duties of the role include:

  • Support the day to day running of the laboratory, including maintaining cleanliness, preparing specialist materials and stock solutions and assist with the routine maintenance of analytical equipment.
  • Assisting with the creation of and maintaining health and safety processes within a laboratory environment. 
  • Working within an ISO 9001 management system.
  • Liaising with internal and external clients for analytical work.

This full-time post is available on an indefinite basis and will be campus based.
