Are you passionate about helping students succeed? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment where no two days are the same? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

The Student Information Zone (SIZ) is UEA’s one-stop shop for students, right in the heart of campus. We’re looking for a Student Information Adviser to join our team and provide outstanding information, advice, and guidance to students in person, online, and by phone.

 In this role, you will:

• Be the first point of contact for a wide range of student queries.

• Offer clear, compassionate, and professional support.

• Work collaboratively with teams across the University to make sure students get the help and information they need.

• Resolve issues where possible and refer on to specialist services when necessary.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll make a real difference to the student experience. If you’re proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering excellent customer service, we’d love to have you on board.

What we’re looking for:

• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, staying calm and focused under pressure.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt communication styles to suit different needs, audiences and situations.

• Excellent customer service experience with a focus on delivering high-quality support.

• Ability to listen with empathy and deal sensitively with a wide range of individuals and issues.

Why join the SIZ team?

Our Advisers help with everything from module changes and assessments to finances and wellbeing. If we can’t solve a problem directly, we’ll make sure students are referred to the right specialist team or service.

Working in SIZ means being at the heart of campus life, in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team that values compassion, creativity, and making a positive impact every day.
