Senior Research Associate

Salary on appointment will be £38,784 per annum (pro rata), with an annual increment up to £46,049 per annum (pro rata).
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Research Associate join the Norwich Business School to work on the WISHES (Workplace Intervention for Sustainable Health and Employment Support) study of job crafting, health and employment outcomes. The study will investigate whether a job crafting intervention is effective in maintaining or enhancing health and employment outcomes, especially for workers with health conditions and/or disabilities.
As a Research Associate you will contribute to the research programme, analyse and interpret data, write up results and present information on research progress and outcomes.
You will have a postgraduate level research degree, equivalent qualification or experience in a relevant research area in one or more of the following areas of: job crafting; health, disability and employment; organisational training and development. Publications in respected journals or an ability to translate academic research findings into actionable insights for employers is essential to the role, as is experience of qualitative research methods. The job will require extensive travel throughout the UK to deliver the intervention as well as collect quantitative and qualitative data.
This part-time (0.6 FTE) post is available from 1 April 2026 on a fixed-term basis until 31 July 2028.
