Starting salary from £48,822 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £56,535 per annum.

We are looking to recruit a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician with experience of supervising and supporting learning to join the University of East Anglia (UEA) School of Chemistry, Pharmacy and Pharmacology. You will be expected to make a full contribution to teaching, predominantly focussed on undergraduate level of the Pharmacy (MPharm) programme. This post would suit someone looking to make the transition from clinical practice to education or someone coming to the end of their PhD looking for their first academic position.

The MPharm programme at UEA is highly regarded for its innovation and focus on practical application of skills. In this role, you will use your experience of healthcare and passion for developing others to contribute to teaching and administration in the School. You will focus on developing high quality experiential learning both within the classroom and with external placement providers. You will join a growing, committed and friendly staff team and work collaboratively with colleagues across the School, Faculty and wider University to support the learning, teaching and assessment in pharmacy and healthcare courses. With support and mentorship, you will be given the opportunity to grow and develop as an academic healthcare professional.

The ideal candidate will be a registered pharmacy professional with an interest in and experience of supporting others learning. You will have experience of education and training including the development of teaching material for trainee healthcare professionals. You must be passionate about developing the next generation of pharmacy professionals and will be expected to build an external reputation for your expertise in healthcare education.

This full-time post is available from 1 August 2026 on an indefinite basis.
