Clinical Associate Professor in Medical Education - Head of Year 2 MB BS

Starting salary from £71,694 per annum (pro rata), dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £100,084 per annum (pro rata).
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Associate Professor to join Norwich Medical School as Head of Year 2 on our MB BS course. The post will provide leadership of the year team including module leads, primary care PDT / CSTs and assessment and will collaborate with module leads to develop the curriculum in alignment to GMC MLA and Outcomes for graduates. The post will Chair the year Exam Board, ensure assessment, particularly written and clinical is appropriate for the year, and be lead for student engagement and professionalism for the year.
GMC registration with license to practice and on specialist register and membership of Royal College is essential.
CCT, varied experience of teaching in higher education to students at UG and PG level within clinical medicine, and demonstrable experience of, or potential for, enterprise/engagement are also essential requirements for the role.
This part-time (0.2 FTE) post is available on a fixed term basis for 3 years (renewable for a further 3 years)
