You will have proven experience of visitor and customer service delivery in a museum, arts, or cultural environment, and experience of working in a busy food or hospitality related outlet, including previous Barista experience. You will also have experience of using a till, recording sales, handling cash, and cashing up procedures.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and will have experience dealing with and resolving customer feedback and issues. You will have excellent attention to detail and are able to work effectively within a team, contributing to a positive and inclusive working environment. A basic understanding of health and safety within a café, restaurant or hospitality environment is desirable. As the Terrace Café is a licensed premise, all applicants to the role must be aged 18 or over, as the role will include serving of alcohol to customers.
