Lecturer in Nursing Sciences (Adult Nursing)

Starting salary from £48,822 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £56,535 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer to join the School of Health Sciences to deliver lectures and seminars and carry out teaching-related duties.
Teaching is a key part of this role and as such you will be expected to plan, teach and assess undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, taking responsibility for the delivery and assessment of specific modules. This will include organising modules and developing teaching and learning materials. You will also take responsibility for some of the degree programmes within the school, supervise dissertations at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and promote enterprise and engagement at UEA.
A first degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area with experience of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and student assessment at all levels including coursework, examinations and undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations is desirable. Supervision experience at postgraduate level and experience in relevant enterprise and engagement activities would be advantageous.
This full-time post is available immediately on a fixed term basis for up to 12 months to cover a period of maternity leave.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
