Anatomy Technician

Salary on appointment will be £26,338 per annum, with an annual increment up to £29,959 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Anatomy Technician with an interest in using technology to develop learning and teaching resources to join the Anatomy team within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences to support the delivery of anatomy seminars and training courses to registered UEA students and healthcare professionals respectively. In addition, there is the opportunity to progress by guiding student dissection and providing face to face tutorials using prosections.
Key duties of the role include:
- Ensure effective operational and financial management of the anatomy facility by maintaining high-quality documentation, managing budgets and procurement, coordinating revenue-generating events, and supporting internal and external stakeholders through training, events, and strategic planning.

Facilitate the development and integration of innovative digital and multimedia resources—including 3D scanning and printing, VR, and AI—in collaboration with academic staff, internal teams, and external partners, while managing content delivery through the University’s online learning platforms with proven ability to use and adapt to various IT and media technologies, manage multiple priorities, collaborate with academic staff, and develop engaging educational resources across digital platforms.
This full-time post is available from 1 September 2025 on an indefinite basis.
