PGR Coordinators - Professional Doctorates

Salary on appointment will be £26,338 per annum (pro rata), with an annual increment up to £29,959 per annum (pro rata).
We have exciting opportunities for candidates seeking to develop professional administration and customer service skills within the higher education sector, or as a secondment opportunity for internal candidates, to join the Postgraduate Research (PGR) Team supporting Professional Doctorates programmes located on the UEA campus.
The PGR Team supports many aspects of the University's postgraduate research education provision, including PGR Admissions, Doctoral Training Partnerships and postgraduate research student skills support. The Professional Doctorates Team support working professionals interested in using applied research to solve problems in their field through doctoral programmes of study within Clinical and Educational Psychology, Education and Health and Social Care.
As a Coordinator, you will deliver an outstanding ‘customer focus’ to students and staff, ensuring that services are effective, agile, responsive, supportive and welcoming. A key aspect of the role is to provide supervision and support for PGR Administrators delivering services to academic and Professional Service staff, and students working and studying at the University. You will lead by example, promoting a culture of excellence in customer service and continuous improvement.
You will work closely with School and Faculty PGR leads, academic supervisors and Graduate Schools and support PGR regulatory and quality assurance activity, on behalf of the University.
You will have recent experience of working in a similar administrative role and will meet all the essential criteria as set out in the person specification.
There are two roles available:
- One role is offered on a full-time (1 FTE) basis as maternity/adoption leave cover for a fixed-term period of up to 12 months from 1 August 2025.
- The second role is offered on a part-time (0.8 FTE) basis for a fixed-term period of 12 months from 1 August 2025.
A secondment will be considered, and applicants should please ensure that a secondment will be possible with their Line Manager/Head of Department, before submitting a formal application.
