Lecturer in Media Production (Fixed-term for 2 years)

Starting salary from £38,249 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £45,413 per annum. 


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer to join the School of Media, Language and Communication Studies to deliver lectures and seminars and carry out teaching-related duties.  
  
Teaching is a key part of this role and as such you will be expected to plan, teach and assess undergraduate and potentially postgraduate programmes, taking responsibility for the delivery and assessment of specific modules. This will include organising modules and developing teaching and learning materials.

You will also take responsibility for some of the degree programmes within the school, regularly interview prospective students and promote enterprise and engagement at UEA. 

It is anticipated that you will teach in areas including single camera production and factual production and have a strong background in the film & TV industry.

You must have a first degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area with experience of undergraduate teaching and student assessment at all levels including coursework, examinations and undergraduate dissertations. Teaching experience at postgraduate level and an interest in relevant enterprise and engagement activities would be advantageous.

This full-time post is available from 1 September 2025 on a fixed term basis for 2 years.
