Salary on appointment will be £30,805 per annum (pro rata), with an annual increment up to £37,174 per annum (pro rata).
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Associate to join the School of Computing Sciences to conduct studies on Enhancing the AI System for Seabed Mapping and Assessing its Impact.
As a Research Associate you will contribute to the research programme, analyse and interpret data, write up results and present information on research progress and outcomes.
You will have a graduate level qualification, equivalent qualification or experience in a relevant subject and will be able to work in a proactive and results driven manner in a high paced environment. You will also have strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to analyse and interpret data and work effectively as part of a team. Advanced skills directly relating to this research area would be advantageous.
This part-time (0.85FTE) post is available on a fixed term basis until 31 July 2025.
