Senior Laboratory Technician

Salary on appointment will be £26,338 per annum, with an annual increment up to £29,959 per annum. 


UEA has some of the most innovative and highly regarded centres for research in the UK. Applications are invited for the post of Senior Laboratory Technician to assist in the Science Analytical Facility under the supervision of Antony Hinchliffe, Instrument Platforms Manager.

Key duties of the role include:

  • Running and maintaining analytical equipment within the Science Analytical Facility
  • Developing and validating bespoke analytical methods
  • Creating and maintaining health and safety processes within a laboratory environment
  • Conducting analyses within an ISO 9001 management system
  • Liaising with internal and external clients for analytical work

This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis and will be campus based.
