Research Associate in Nutritional Neuroscience (fixed term for 2 years)

Salary on appointment will be £30,505 per annum, with an annual increment up to £36,924 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Associate join the Department of Nutrition and Preventive Medicine at the Norwich Medical School to conduct a dietary intervention study.
The current post is associated with a recent grant awarded by the Givaudan (France) for a project investigating the acute benefits of American Ginseng on mood and cognition in healthy young adults. As a Research Associate you will contribute to the research programme, help analyse and interpret data, write up results and present information on research progress and outcomes.
You will have a graduate level qualification or equivalent and be able to work in a proactive and results driven manner in a high paced environment. You will also have strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to analyse and interpret data and work effectively as part of a team. Advanced skills directly relating to this research area and previous research experience would be advantageous.
This post is available on a full-time basis for a period of 2 years with an anticipated start date of 3 February 2025. Whilst the post will be based within the Department of Nutrition, Norwich Medical School, the post holder will mainly work at the NHS Clinical Research Facility (CRF) which is situated at the Quadram Institute, Rosalind Franklin Road, Norwich Research Park, Norwich, NR4 7UQ.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
