Wellbeing Manager (Advice & Engagement) (full-time or part-time at a minimum of 0.8 FTE)

Starting salary from £37,999 per annum (pro rata), dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £45,163 per annum (pro rata)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate, knowledgeable and dedicated individual to join the UEA Wellbeing Service.
The Wellbeing Manager (Advice & Engagement) will be part of the Student Services Wellbeing Management Team. You will work with the Heads of Department and other managers to lead and support the delivery of wellbeing services for students at UEA.
Your role will be to manage the day-to-day operation of the Wellbeing Advisory Service who support students with Mental Health, Physical/sensory disability and specific learning difference. You will provide line management supervision to Wellbeing Advisers, provide advice, guidance and support to the team in relation to their day-to-day work, monitor wait times and ensure the service meets its targets to engage with students with disabilities and additional challenges in a holistic and timely way. The Wellbeing Manager (Advice & Engagement) will support the University in meeting its obligations under the Equality Act 2010 with regards to providing students with reasonable adjustments.
Previous management experience for this post is essential and we are keen to hear from candidates with a strong background in managing multi disciplinary teams with a wellbeing focus.
The post is available immediately on an indefinite basis and can be offered at full-time or part-time at a minimum of 0.8 FTE. The post can be undertaken on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of 60% of this time worked on campus (it is essential that one of these campus days is a Friday).
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service, including a check of the Child and Adult Barred Lists. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children or vulnerable adults.
