Security Duty Manager

Starting salary from £38,698 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £46,135 per annum (consolidated).
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Security Duty Manager to join the Estates and Facilities Directorate
Key duties of the role include managing a team of staff to provide and maintain a safe, secure and sustainable environment for staff, students and visitors to the UEA, 24 hours a day throughout the year. Your team will protect the buildings and property of the UEA and the welfare and property of staff, students and visitors and undertake traffic management duties. You will also act as first responder for incidents and a point of contact for information.
You will have:
- Substantial recent experience in a management position, responsible for management and motivation within a security team.
- Previous involvement in responding to and managing emergencies and major incidents.
- Experience of full operational control within a team.
This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service, including a check of the Child Barred List. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
