Starting salary from £47,874 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £55,295 per annum.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Norwich Business School, a vibrant and diverse academic community ranked among the top 15 UK business schools for research output quality (REF 2021). The school is on an exciting trajectory of growth across its teaching, research, and innovation portfolio, and we are seeking a Lecturer in Business Analytics to contribute to this development.
As a member of the Innovation, Technology, and Operations Management (ITOM) Group, you will have the opportunity to build a research profile that complements the school's existing strengths. You will contribute by producing high-quality research proposals, securing external funding, and sharing your findings through leading academic publications and conferences. Teaching is also a core component of this role, where you will be involved in delivering business analytics courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as supervising PhD students. Additionally, you will engage with the business community, to enhance impact and foster external partnerships.
We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate a commitment to excellence and innovation in both teaching and research, and who have the potential to contribute to the academic leadership within the school.
You will hold a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area, or be near completion, with submission and award expected within one year. You should have proven experience in higher education teaching and student assessment, alongside a strong publication record that reflects your career stage. Furthermore, you should have a successful track record in securing research funding and demonstrate potential for leadership in both academic and business enterprise and engagement initiatives.
This full-time post is available on an indefinite basis from 6 January 2025.
