Parking and Traffic Warden (Part time, 20 hours per week, term time only)

Salary on appointment will be £22,465 per annum (pro rata), with an annual increment up to £23,114 per annum (pro rata).
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, professional individual to join the Estates and Facilities Directorate as a Parking and Traffic Warden.
Key duties of the role include working as part of our Transport team to handle all matters relating to enforcement of traffic and parking regulations on campus. This will include:
- Checking for authorised vehicles in car parks.
- Issuing Penalty Charge Notices.
- Assist with traffic control.
- Provide information and assistance to users regarding parking and traffic regulations.
You will have excellent communication skills, as well as accuracy and attention to detail. You will also have the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations and be a competent IT user. There is a requirement to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
This part-time post (20 hours per week, term time only 38 weeks per annum) is available immediately on an indefinite basis.
