Salary on appointment will be £22,681 per annum, with an annual increment up to £24,533 per annum.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to join our Faculty Professional Services team in the School of Global Development (DEV), within the Faculty of Social Sciences.
Working as part of a team, you will provide an efficient, high quality and proactive administrative service to your academic and administrative colleagues within the School. You will be involved in a variety of activities, including supporting the organisation of events and projects that support student recruitment and the student experience and the research culture of the School.
School Administrators also play a vital role in maintaining and developing the School’s main communication channels, including preparing School bulletins, maintaining websites, looking after social media platforms and maintaining engaging communication displays around the ZICER building in which the School is located.
You will be proactive in providing a customer-focused service to students, staff and visitors and will be one of the points of contact for staff in the School. This includes maintaining a welcoming in-person presence in the School Office and ensuring staff have equipment and supplies to be able to work efficiently and effectively, including hybrid working.
This full-time post is available from 28 October 2024 on an indefinite basis.
