Knowledge Exchange Officer (Fixed term until 31 March 2028)

UEA’s Research and Innovation Service (RIN) are looking to recruit a highly motivated Knowledge Exchange Officer to support the delivery of the Technical Platform for Innovation and Knowledge Exchange (T-PIKE), an EPSRC-funded Eastern Arc project, led by the University of Essex in partnership with the University of Kent and University of East Anglia. The project will deliver training, mentoring and knowledge exchange framework for research technical professionals (RTPs) to engage with industrial and commercial partners, charities, and third sector organisations.

You will work as part of the project operational team, which will include two other Knowledge Exchange Officers (one based at each university) and a Programme Manager (based at the University of Essex) and will liaise with the project leadership team to plan, organise and deliver the programme’s activities, including training and events, provide financial assistance and project coordination.

In this role you will work closely and collaboratively with staff from across RIN and the wider university community. You will demonstrate an ability in the provision of effective assistance for busy managers, proven organisation and planning skills and a track record in project management. An effective relationship builder you will thrive in supporting partnership and collaboration development. You will be proactive, well-organised and interested in working collaboratively across organisations to deliver this unique project. You must have a relevant degree or have equivalent level of experience. Applicants will be expected to satisfy all essential criteria outlined in the person specification within the candidate brochure.

This full-time post is available from 4 November 2024 for a fixed term period until 31 March 2028.
