UEA Award Officer (fixed term from 2 September 2024 to 31 July 2025)

Salary on appointment will be £29,605 per annum, with an annual increment up to £36,024 per annum
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a UEA Award Officer to provide careers and employability support to students and recent graduates with the UEA Award.
You will focus on supporting students and recent graduates from access and participation backgrounds to access the UEA Award, and will work closely with the wider CareerCentral team to promote skills development and articulation. You will work with students, graduates and colleagues across the University to promote the UEA Award through workshops, resources and support sessions, and will work strategically to address barriers to accessing the UEA Award for various groups.
A degree or equivalent qualification or experience in a Higher Education context or similar is essential. Experience working with students or graduates in an advisory capacity and forging effective working relationships is key. You will have experience supporting students and graduates, using empathy and listening skills and designing and delivering workshops. Experience of data management and graduate recruitment would be advantageous.
This full-time post is available from 2 September 2024 on a fixed-term basis until 31 July 2025.
