An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project/Research Administrative Assistant to join the Project Team of the Wellcome Trust funded Institutional Award “Inclusion Diversity and Equality of Access (IDEA)” Project.
 
This project will be based within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences but will involve working across the University. You will support the FMH Associate Dean for Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion and Project Administration Manager to effect a culture change by evidencing the positive impact of equality, diversity, and inclusion awareness and training and research process initiatives.
 
You will provide efficient, pro-active and high quality customer support and assist the Project Team by undertaking clerical and administrative duties to support the project and members of the team, including organising and servicing meetings, travel, workshops, as well as liaising with the project members to ensure the timely delivery of documentation, and that information is provided accurately and efficiently.

You will have a good standard of education with a minimum of five passes at GCSE at Grades A-C including Mathematics and English, or equivalent qualification, or equivalent recent experience in a similar role providing business administrative support. Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills are essential as is the ability to manage a varied workload in a high paced environment. Previous experience in a similar area would be advantageous.

This full-time post is available from 1 October 2024 on a fixed term basis for two years.
