About the Role:

Sainsbury Centre

Sculpture Park Producer
Ref: SC5061

Salary on appointment will be £31,236 per annum, with an annual increment up to £37,694 per annum.

The Sainsbury Centre is a world-class art museum with a unique perspective on how art can foster cultural dialogue and exchange, formally recognising the living lifeforce of art and enabling people to build relationships across an arts landscape.

Home to a global collection of artworks spanning 6,000 years of human imagination and creative power, our curators collaborate with artists to explore the most important questions people have in their lives such as What is Truth? and How Do We Find Love? It is not a museum to only learn more about artists, cultures or movements like Francis Bacon, the Tang Dynasty or Modernism, it is a place of experience, where collections are animate, and visitors are invited to form a personal relationship with art.

In 1973, Sir Robert and Lady Lisa Sainsbury donated their world-class art collection to the University of East Anglia (UEA) in Norwich. Trailblazing in their choice to display art from all around the globe and from all time periods equally and collectively, Sir Robert and Lady Lisa Sainsbury created one of the most sought after yet non-conformist art collections. The Sainsbury Centre is an international museum for everyone welcoming over 1 million visitors a year to enjoy its collection, housed in a modern architectural icon designed by Sir Norman Foster, and its Sculpture Park set in 350 acres of parkland. It will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2028.

The Sainsbury Centre Sculpture Park is one of the UK’s leading art landscapes, with over 20 artworks situated in and around Norman Foster’s iconic building on the University of East Anglia’s campus.  Situated 3 miles outside of Norwich City Centre, the Sculpture Park will soon be reached by a new Norwich Art Path, a creative route starting in the heart of the medieval city, through public parks and green spaces, to the Sainsbury Centre on the University of East Anglia campus and beyond to the River Yare and Norfolk and Norwich Hospital.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sculpture Park Producer to join the Sainsbury Centre’s Collections Team.

Key duties of the role include leading on all aspects of installation activity in the Sculpture Park, including artworks and associated furniture (e.g. plinths, signage and seating) and liaising with key internal and external stakeholders in the planning and preparation of artwork installation, including Norwich City Council, University of East Anglia’s Estate and Security Teams. You will also manage relationships with key stakeholders in the development of Norwich Art Path, including Norfolk and Norwich Festival and Norfolk Museums Service.

You will have experience in leading on the commissioning and installation of artworks in the public realm, museums, galleries or equivalent, and experience working with artists on realising ambitious, large-scale projects.

This full-time post is available on a fixed-term basis from 1 December 2026 until 31 July 2028.

UEA offers a variety of flexible working options and although this role is advertised on a full-time basis, we also encourage applications from individuals who would prefer a flexible working pattern. Details of preferred hours should be stated in the personal statement and will be discussed further at interview.

Benefits include:
