Administrative Assistant (0.6 FTE)

Salary on appointment will be £25,249 per annum (pro rata), with an annual increment up to £26,093 per annum (pro rata).
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Assistant in the Sainsbury Centre Directorate team. You will provide high quality and pro-active secretarial and administrative support to the Directorate and wider teams across the Centre.
You will ensure the effective and smooth running of the day-to-day administration and services at the Centre, working in collaboration with the Executive Officer for the Centre and Executive Assistants to the Director. Duties will include drafting reports, taking minutes, arranging travel, organising meetings, answering queries and diary management. You will also assist in the procurement of equipment, monitor and maintain finances where required and support new starters.
You will have a good standard of secondary education or equivalent experience in a similar role. Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills are essential as is the ability to manage a varied workload in a high paced environment. Previous experience in procurement processes, budget management and/or updating websites and social media would be advantageous.
This part-time (0.6 FTE) post is available on an indefinite basis.
