Employee Engagement and Internal Communications Officer

We are seeking an Employee Engagement and Internal Communications Officer to join us in the People and Culture Division. 

This is an exciting opportunity to help inform, connect and engage colleagues across the University as we deliver our Strategy 2030 ambitions. Working across a range of projects and priorities, you will create engaging communications and support employee engagement activity that helps colleagues feel informed, involved and connected.

Key responsibilities will include writing, editing and creating content across multiple digital channels, supporting the development and delivery of leadership communications and engagement, and supporting the delivery of the University's employee engagement survey programme.

The successful candidate will have excellent written communication skills, a strong eye for detail and the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content. You will build effective relationships with colleagues across the University, providing communications and engagement support while ensuring activity aligns with organisational priorities and best practice. 

You will have experience of delivering communications for organisational change programmes, managing multiple priorities and working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders. We are looking for someone who is organised, adaptable, proactive and a strong team player. 

This full-time post is available on an indefinite basis. 

UEA offers a variety of flexible working options and although this role is advertised on a full-time basis, we encourage applications from individuals who would prefer a flexible working pattern including annualised hours, compressed working hours, part time, job share, term-time only and/or hybrid working.
