The University of East Anglia is seeking an Associate Director, Change and Improvement to join our Strategic Programmes and Change division. This is a key leadership role with the opportunity to work across the University, supporting strategic delivery, sustainable improvement and people-centred change.

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Programmes and Change, you will guide UEA’s strategic change management function. You will also support the development of our business improvement activity, helping the University focus effort where it can make the greatest difference.

You will work closely with senior leaders, academic faculties, professional services and colleagues across Strategic Programmes and Change. Together, you will help translate strategic priorities into clear delivery plans, with effective governance, visible progress and measurable outcomes.

A recognised change management qualification, or equivalent experience using recognised change approaches, is essential. Experience of business improvement, continuous improvement, project or programme management, and/or working in higher education would be an advantage.

This full-time post is available from 3 August 2026 on an indefinite basis.
