Salary on appointment will be £25,249 per annum with an annual increment up to £26,093 per annum. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Faculty Administrator to join Faculty Professional Services to provide proactive administrative support to academic colleagues, professional services staff and University services, supporting the delivery of Faculty activities and an excellent student experience.

This post will initially be aligned with the Projects Office, supporting project activity for the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Key duties of the role include supporting Faculty activities such as admissions, recruitment and student engagement activities; maintaining and developing Faculty social media, website content and marketing materials and coordinating applicant, student, alumni and external engagement events.

You’ll also provide administrative support for committees, meetings and academic leadership activities; support financial and staffing administration; respond to enquiries from a wide range of stakeholders; and contribute to the delivery of apprenticeship provision and other Faculty activities where required. 

You will have experience of working with administrative systems and office procedures, prioritising competing workloads, supporting meetings and follow-up actions, maintaining web and social media content, and delivering excellent customer service.

You will possess strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in a busy and varied environment.

This full-time post is available on an indefinite basis from 19 August 2026.
