Salary on appointment will be £26,707 per annum, with an annual increment up to £30,378 per annum.
We are looking for an efficient and proactive administrator to provide a high-quality service to the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. You will provide a premium level of Personal Assistant support to senior staff in particular the Pro-Vice Chancellor and Director of FPS Operations and work directly with the academic management of the Faculty.
A key function of the role is to foster and maintain positive relationships within the Faculty, the University and with external organisations, businesses and professional bodies. You will often be required to handle information that is of a highly sensitive and confidential nature. You will enjoy providing an excellent service to staff, students, and external partners while maintaining compliance with University policies and will provide support in a wide range of operational areas, delivering high quality administration to the Faculty including for HR and finance processes.
The role is a key stakeholder in the Faculty’s Professional Services Team and plays a leading role in working with Co-Ordinators across the FPS Team.
You will have good PA skills and the ability to provide excellent communications in all areas of your work. You will be experienced in resolving problems, using your initiative, enjoy team and independent working and providing high quality work.
This full-time post is available from mid-August 2026 on an indefinite basis.
