Starting salary from £38,784 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £46,049 per annum.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Research Services Team in the Research & Innovation Services Division at the University of East Anglia to support the submission and management of research grant bids and awards.
Key duties of the role include managing the day-to-day activities involved in bidding for and accepting grants and contracts for research projects and working closely with academic staff, academic and professional services managers, and a wide range of other colleagues internally and externally. You will be part of a team supporting specific Schools and will be expected to be mindful of the University's research strategy, and the University's and funder's policies and requirements underpinning research activity.
You will have substantial recent experience in a similar or transferable role successfully participating in bidding for funding, considering contracts and advising on risks. You will have experience of supervising team members, negotiating and prioritising workloads and office activities. This full-time post is available on an indefinite basis from 3 August 2026.
