Cleaning Team Leader (Evenings) (Fixed term for 6 months)

Salary on appointment will be £24,685 per annum pro rata with an annual increment up to £26,093 per annum pro rata. 


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cleaning Team Leader to join the Estates & Facilities Directorate.

You’ll provide line management, supervision, direction and support to a team of cleaning staff in order to ensure that specified University facilities and buildings are clean, well-presented and ready for use by students, staff and visitors. You’ll also ensure that University policies and procedures are adhered to. 

You will have supervisory experience or similar gained in a cleaning, housekeeping or facilities post, or experience of these activities in a relevant environment.

You will possess sound literacy and numeracy skills and be able to maintain computer-based records.

A commitment to providing a high standard of customer service and the ability to communicate effectively is expected along with the ability to motivate self and others.

This part-time (16.25 hours per week) post is available on a fixed-term basis for a period of 6 months. You will work Monday to Fridays 5.30pm to 8.45pm.
