Research Associate in Brain Imaging Analyses

Salary on appointment will be £31,236 per annum, with an annual increment up to £37,694 per annum.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Associate join the School of Psychology Language and Perception Lab to assist with brain imaging analyses and studies on spatial language and spatial memory.
As a Research Associate you will contribute to the research programme, analysing and interpreting brain imaging data, contributing to write-up of results and presentation information on research progress and outcomes.
You will have a MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience or related area as well as previous experience with fMRI data analysis software such as FSL, AFNI, Brainvoyager or SPM. You will also have strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan and manage your own workload and meet deadlines. You will be able to meet all essential criteria as detailed in the candidate brochure.
This full-time post is available from 5 January 2026 on a fixed-term basis for 9 months.
