Assistant Technician

Salary on appointment will be £28,941 per annum, with an annual increment up to £30,592 per annum.
We are looking for an Assistant Technician to undertake a range of Maintenance and Facilities related tasks for the University, helping us to function effectively. This includes undertaking minor building repairs and handling equipment faults, checking fire doors, testing emergency lighting, maintaining air handling units, and more.
You’ll need experience of undertaking basic maintenance duties, plus good general secondary education and good communication skills. You’ll be willing to undertake relevant training as required and be able to participate in a roster covering 6 Saturdays per year. In addition, overtime may be required.

This post is based at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, Norfolk, UK.

This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis.
