Technical Lead - IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Analyst

Starting salary from £38,784 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £46,049 per annum.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Lead - IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Analyst to join the ITCS Cyber Security team
In this role you will lead and support Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) activities, ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and standards such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NHS DSPT, and CE/CE+.
You’ll develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and risk management frameworks, supporting audits, assessments, and compliance reporting.
You’ll have responsibility for implementing and evaluating security controls across physical, procedural, technical, and legal domains, embedding secure-by-design principles throughout system lifecycles.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams—including legal, infrastructure, audit, and software engineering— you’ll promote a culture of risk awareness and information assurance.
With responsibility for conducting risk assessments and supporting system accreditation, you’ll help ensure the effectiveness of cryptographic and technical controls to protect data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
This full-time post is available from 1 November 2025 on an indefinite basis.
