Salary on appointment will be £31,236 per annum, with an annual increment up to £37,694 per annum.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Demonstrator to join the School of Computing Sciences to deliver lectures, carry out teaching-related duties, supervise undergraduate dissertations and carry out research on a project related to Machine Learning/Data Science.
You will contribute effectively to the research programme of the School under the supervision/direction of a more experienced Principal Investigator (PI). Using your initiative and creativity you will analyse and interpret research data and draw conclusions on the outcomes.
A graduate level qualification, equivalent qualification or experience in a relevant subject along with teaching experience at undergraduate is essential. Experience of conducting research in data science/machine learning leading to good quality outputs is also essential. Experience in student assessment including coursework, examinations and undergraduate dissertations is desirable.
This full-time post is available on a fixed term basis until 31 July 2026.
