Salary on appointment will be £26,707 per annum with an annual increment up to £30,378 per annum. 

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and reliable Chef Manager in our 168-seater staff and public café/restaurant in the Quadram Institute building, Norwich Research Park. 

With a seasonally changing menu prepared daily for Quadram Institute, NHS staff and visitors, the Quadram Café offers hot food service from breakfast until the late afternoon. The catering offer also includes fresh barista coffee, patisserie made on site, and a selection of fresh sandwiches and salads. 

Is this role for me? 

You will be required to supervise three catering personnel in the preparation and service of all food and drink for the café/restaurant, including some events and hospitality. You will ensure the prompt and efficient operation of all services and maintain a clean and hygienic working environment that meets high standards.  

Equivalent experience in a similar role is essential. If you meet all of the essential requirements of the person specification, and enjoy motivating and encouraging colleagues, it would be great to hear from you.

Appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Basic level from the Disclosure and Barring Service.

This full-time role is available immediately on an indefinite basis.
