Administrative Assistant

Starting salary from £24,685 per annum (pro rata), dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £26,093 per annum (pro rata)
The Administrative Assistant will work as part of the Professional Services Team (PST) and provide administrative support in Student Journey and Support Services.
Duties will include responding to telephone, email and occasional face to face enquiries from students, University staff, external enquirers and organisations. Provision of administrative support to support internal processes in Student Journey and Support Services eg. appointment booking, data inputting, report processing, etc.
You must have five passes at GCSE at Grade C or above, including Mathematics and English (or equivalent qualification or relevant experience in a comparable role). Recent experience of working in an administrative role in a busy office environment and excellent customer relations in person, by telephone and in writing are essential.
The post is available immediately on a part-time (0.6 FTE) basis for a fixed term period of up to 12 months to cover a period of maternity leave.
