Starting salary from £38,249 per annum (pro rata), dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £45,413 per annum (pro rata)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer to join the School of Health Sciences to deliver lectures and seminars and carry out teaching-related duties.  
  
Teaching is a key part of this role and as such you will be expected to plan, teach and assess undergraduate and potentially postgraduate programmes, taking responsibility for the delivery and assessment of specific modules. This will include organising modules and developing teaching and learning materials. You will also take responsibility for some of the degree programmes within the school, regularly interview prospective students and promote enterprise and engagement at UEA. 
 
You must have a first degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area with experience of undergraduate teaching and student assessment at all levels including coursework, examinations and undergraduate dissertations. A current HCPC/NMC/GMC registration is also required.  Teaching experience at postgraduate level and an interest in relevant enterprise and engagement activities would be advantageous.

This part-time (0.8 FTE) post is available on a fixed term basis for two years to cover the absence of the current post holder.  
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
