Salary on appointment will be £24,344 per annum (pro rata), with an annual increment up to £25,733 per annum (pro rata).
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two School Administrators to join the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Faculty Professional Services Team. One role is to support the School of Media, Language and Communication Studies and one is to support the School of Politics, Philosophy and Area Studies.
Key duties of the roles include working closely with the Faculty Professional Services team to support the academic and student community of your assigned School, working with colleagues across the Faculty as well as your School. You will be supporting the School to deliver a high-quality student experience as well as operational administration required by the School and Professional Services to support University business. Working directly to the School Co-ordinator you will undertake vital administrative tasks including some financial processes, contracts, events, web and social media updates.
You will have excellent organisational skills, enjoy team working and will be self-motivated to provide a good customer service.
These posts are available immediately on an indefinite basis. There is 1.5 FTE available. Appointment is therefore available on either a full or part time basis, please indicate your preferred working hours in your application form.
