Maintenance Team

Technical Engineer (Electrician)
Ref: MC73

Starting salary from £36,116 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £43,583 per annum.

We are looking for a Technical Engineer (Electrician) to provide expert technical electrical knowledge to support our Maintenance team. You will carry out operational support, conduct maintenance inspections and ensure compliance with statutory legislation.

You’ll need to be qualified to C&G 2391 (Electrical Installation), NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations, Electrical Installations 18th Edition or equivalent with AM2. You'll also need experience of managing third party suppliers and you will hold your IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) qualification.

You’ll be required to participate in a roster covering 6 Saturdays per year, along with a call-out rota, both of which attract additional payments. In addition, overtime may be required.

This full-time post is based at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, Norfolk, UK and is available immediately on an indefinite basis.
