Lecturer in Conservation Ecology

Salary on appointment will be £48,149 per annum, with an annual increment up to £55,755 per annum.
The School of Environmental Sciences are recruiting a Lecturer in Conservation Ecology for a two-year fixed term post. You will be expected to contribute to delivering teaching to undergraduate and post-graduate students, and assist in curriculum development in ecology and conservation, and associated administrative duties.
The School supports new appointees in developing their international-calibre research programmes. You will be expected to have existing collaborations with practitioners, particularly research end-users, including national and international governmental, non-governmental conservation organisations, or business.
You must have a PhD (or equivalent) in ecology, biodiversity, or other relevant discipline and demonstrable ability to teach effectively at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level. You must fulfil all essential elements of the person specification.
This full-time post is available from 11 August 2025 on a two-year fixed term basis.
