Senior Information Assistant

Salary on appointment will be £24,344 per annum, with an annual increment up to £25,733 per annum.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Information Assistant to join the UEA Library. We are seeking a customer-focused person to join our busy Library helpdesk. You would work directly with users to provide an excellent customer experience both of our in-building resources and the UEA Digital Library. You will have a customer service background and enjoy working within a user-focused team to create a friendly and welcoming environment.
You must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and web-based software. You will have confidence assisting users through email, telephone and online chat, and be committed to supporting all our users to access our services. You will have excellent written communications skills and high attention to detail. We are looking for a team worker capable of managing their own time and working closely with colleagues.
This full-time post is available immediately on a fixed term basis until 1 December 2025.
The role includes moving trolleys in and around working areas, and re-shelving items throughout the building. (Reasonable adjustments will be considered for an individual in line with the Equality Act 2010 following the recommendation of Occupational Health).
